39 weeks preg and sharp twinges and tightening, help?

When I'm out anywhere walking or just around the house I suddenly get a sharp twinge down in my lady section, even after I have been sitting and I stand up I get them, I would say about 3 times a day, I also get very tight feeling round the top Of my stomach just below my breasts.. I don't know about revitalize but towards the end of the third semester on, as long as the kids have not missed too many days AND their grades are in the A/B range, I allow for a "mental health" day for some Mommy and me. Yeah, I could do it on their legit days off from school BUT they kind of like the "naughtiness" of playing hooky. We really make the best of it too, as dorky as it is, we go on educational field trips. This year, all three of them took off the same day and we went down to Harrisburg and watched our government at work. The boys really liked it. Next year, we are saving up to start a hooky day on a Friday and take a weekend trip either to Washington DC or Philadelphia.

Is it okay to practice jumping everyday?

I am 5 foot, 8 inches and I am trying to dunk a basketball. Currently, I can curl my fingers around the rim, but I'm not yet able to "throw" the ball in the basket. I am 135 pounds (yeahhh, I'm a skinny fellow) and I usually do some weightlifting around 3 times a week... I mostly focus on the lower body to strengthen my calves, hamstrings, and quads, but I also do some upper body and core exercises along with some running. I like doing a lot of box jumps to help increase vertical jumps. Simple question dealing with sound waves!?

I'm curious if I'm talking in a low voice to someone and another person gets in between me and this person and talks in an even louder voice, the person I was talking to may have difficulty distinguishing between the different sounds and hearing what it was i was trying to say but is it true that the sound waves will actually interfere with each other rendering sounds distorted where they interfere? for instance if i touch the surface of a still pool of water in one place and then in another at the same time (assuming that sound waves and the ripples in the water work similarly) the ripples will interfere reducing their mass and distorting them. Assuming my assumptions so far are true ( I have very limited scientific knowledge) in that sound waves and ripples in water are the same in that sense etc.. Basically I'm asking if the other persons voice would actually distort the sound waves if they were produced at the exact same time? Also if I were to take a very high frequency sound higher than humans ears are capable of distinguishing rendering this sound while talking would it distort some of the sound waves from my speaking? I hope this makes sense sorry I'm kind of pressed for time. Any help appreciated and ill update the question if you state where exactly it needs more explanation or makes little sense.

Clip on hair extension questions?

I have I&K human hair clip in extensions. You can sleep with them in but they might be uncomfortable or get pulled out and you might have to put them back in the morning. The point of clip ins is that you can take them in and out very quickly and easily. You can swim with them but wash them well after. I would take them out for swimming if they are lighter than dark brown because they might have been bleached to the colour required. Take extensions out to wash your hair because the hair and yours will get tangled in the clip and if you blow dry your hair the clip could get hot. It depends how often you wear them as to how often you wash them. If you wear them everyday then once or twice a week or if you curl them you might want to wash the curl out. I wash mine with my normal shampoo and conditioner under the tap, hot, warm, or cold it doesn't make much difference. Straighten them separately and then put them in because if not really secure the straighteners will pull them out. Curl them already in your hair so they match the curl and the curling iron doesn't pull. Very easy to put in, mine take a few seconds for each one.

get a really good mousse thats for scrunching or curls. Towel dry your hair, add throughout hair, spray with a max hold hairspray and wrap your hair in a towel. I usually do my makeup or something and come back and dry it upside down with a dryer with a diffuser. At the same time scrunching hair with the other hand. When its dry set it how you like it and spray with hairspray.

What could be the cause of this case of black stool?

Hello, I've recently been experiencing very dark and thin stool. It is almost black in color, contains what appears to be unprocessed particles, appears very loose and amorphous, and possesses a wispy and almost hair-like quality. I am a young female who has not been taking supplements of any sort or consuming similarly colored foods. I certainly do not eat much and experience frequent stomach upset and diarrhea upon eating. I have purged within the last week which resulted in diarrhea immediately after. Also, in prior months I had experienced persistent feelings of needing to clear the throat followed by the taste of blood in the past. I have obsessive compulsive praying at a rate of about 10 to 20 short times per minute which I feel the need to punctuate with a clicking noise made at the back of the throat, and I believe this could be a contribution to the former issue. Has Degrassi changed too much?

I'm a die hard Degrassi fan, have seen every episode, and know every character's story line. The first few seasons of Degrassi: The Next Generation were set up similarly to the earlier series Degrassi Junior High and High (also know as Old School) and were really good. What I mean by this is that there was a large diverse cast with each had a different personality, there would be a scenario in the episode that was the focal point, a common issue would be tackled (cheating, protesting, cutting, internet safety, pregnancy, drugs, etc.), and the episode would lead to a resolution. Occasionally they would drag the episode out into two or three (of course you couldn't have a girl get pregnant and it be done that fast), but it was generally solved shortly. Of course the issues would be used to build onto the characters' personalities and the way they react in other situations. It was never really like the original, because it got more in depth a dramatic in the kids lives. Now it just seems like a mini soap opera. The original cast isn't even there anymore. When do you think Degrassi started going down hill? Or do you think that it is fine the way it is? Just curious.

My burn doesn't swell but its brown colored?

I was doing my research about my hot curling iron burn (I accidently hit my neck for a second but the setting was on high) , and the description matched a third degree burn. Sort of. Its a very small area (less then a quarter size), and at first, it was redish. I didn't do anything and after a day it became brown. There's no blistering or swelling, and it only hurts a little to touch. I've just left it alone, what degree burn is this? And will it leave a scar?

Why is my PS3 having connection issues?

I have been having internet issues with my PS3 for a while now. I am beginning to think it is my ISP. All my correct ports are open, firmware on the router is up to date, and anything else that may get in the way. I have looked up this problem numerous times and all the solutions that worked for other people have not for me. I have been using Call of Duty: Black Ops as a litmus, and other games have proven to work similarly. Before the problems occurred, the game would say my NAT type is Open and I would have little or no lag problems. A few months back the game started saying NAT Type: Moderate with the message saying that matchmaking may take longer, well my lag would skyrocket in game and the bars would be red and yellow, despite the fact that my PS3 internet connection test says I have decent Up and Down speeds. It also says that my NAT Type is Type 2, so what is the deal? could this be a ISP issue, Modem issue, can I fix this so I can play future games online without having to go to my ISP?

Of course you should make sure you have comfy footwear for your reception! My mom harassed me so much last year about my choice of flip flops, but I told her that if I had to wear heels for 6 hours, I would be so cranky that I would have to leave the reception before dessert was served! I got orthaheel flip flops which look nice, not cheap. My gown was short so I had to make sure my shoes still looked ok but if you have a long gown, none of your guests will ever know you changed shoes anyway.

If you have not already, I would encourage you to read some of Carl Sagan's books, or even watch his Cosmos tv series (It's all on Hulu). Watching that and reading some of his books, Pale Blue Dot especially, really got me intrigued about the universe and our place in it. I would watch Cosmos and then invest in a good telescope. I'm in just the opposite situation myself; I've recently wanted to delve deeper into philosophy, maybe read some of the classics you mentioned. But yes, Richard Dawkins is great too. He's a biologist, but he has a lot of great books about evolution, religion, and lots of interesting things. But for astronomy, I would strongly suggest Dr. Sagan and a telescope to get you started.

My name is Tina and I'm a 23-year-old female who has been living on her own for about a year. my eyelashes are really long so when I put on mascara it always straightens out. I use CoverGirl lash blast. I curl my lashes and when I put it on, it stays curl for like 5 seconds then it straightens out. I use 2 coats of mascara like I wiggle it from the root to the top but it still straightens out. Am i exercising too much??

My average day of exercising includes running a minimum of 3 miles, jump rope for 10 minutes, swimming the freestyle for 30 minutes and then 10 minutes of breaststroke and backstroke, Sometimes I even run an extra mile of 1/5 mile sprints. I then workout which goes on average punching the heavy bag for 5 rounds (15 min) with 1 min breaks, then preacher curls, pull ups, chin ups, push ups, bench press, butterfly press, shoulder press, butterflys, dips, barbell curls, hammer curls, sitting rows, shoulder shrugs, lat pull downs, dumbell rows, and dumbell raises- all of this is 3 sets of 12 and this is done every alternating day , on the days i am not doing this workout i do legs and stomach, I am not going to explain it all but it includes the 3 mile run, swim, and jump rope, leg extension, leg press, leg curls, sumo squats, captains chair, stationary bike, stair master, decline crunches leg raises, planks, ---- I do the first workout on monday, wednesday, and friday, and I do the second (legs and stomach) on tuesday, thursday, and saturday. Sunday is my only off day, so tell me if you think this is way too much or just okay?!?!?!?!

My 9 week old kitten just fell from the top of my stairs?

He seems fine physically, and he's playing now a little, he seemed really scared and shooken up from the fall when he hit the ground :( I didn't see it happen, I just heard a "thud" and came to see what happened and he was curled up on all fours. As I said he seems okay just a little scared now I guess. :( He is my first cat so I'm not too experienced with cats. Will he/is he okay? Should I be concerned? It was a long drop, if I fell from that height I WOULD break a bone probably. This happened like, 10 - 15 minutes ago. What should I do :( Help!

Contractions or Baby Movements..39 weeks?

This isn't the first time I have felt this feeling, but I got to thinking that maybe it's more than what I thought it was. For what I have thought was baby movements, could it be contractions?The feeling is tight in my upper stomach (the top of my uterus), and it makes it hard to breathe. I figured it was my baby's body curling up in a ball while pushing on my ribs. The feeling puts pressure on my lower stomach. It isnt really painful, but it is very uncomfortable and very tight (at the top)..I have had cramps before, which I thought was a contraction, but now that I am feeling this too, makes me wonder what is what. Heat exhaustion or infected tooth?

So last night my husband was watching tv with me and then all of a sudden he was curled in a ball crying and holding his mouth. His face was not swollen or anything it just hurt really bad and i was really scared cause i mean hello what 22 year old man starts crying over a tooth a tooth ache unless its really bad. well he put some aspirin on it and it stopped. he went to work this morning completly fine. he is a farm hand and he was at work 11 hours outside the whole time and it was about 90 here. he was fine all day till about 20 mins before he came home and then he started feeling really sick i checked his temp when he got home and it was 101.5 i gave him some advil it went down he was feeling better and 4 hours later his stomach started hurting.the fever was coming back. he took some tyonal and we went to bed and about an hour later he woke up puking. right before he got sick he was sweating after it stopped.he is sleeping now and it feels like his temp is down. i am kinda scared to go to sleep with him like this. does this sound like an infection in his tooth could have reptured or be leaking or more like head exhaustion ? oh and today his tooth has not hurt him at all

Tough choice between books or Telescope?

It's not a question of EITHER a telescope OR books: you need BOTH. A telescope by itself is useless: you need at least an atlas or a guidebook to find anything interesting to look at. My personal recommendation is a good book (NightWatch by Terence Dickinson is my favourite) and a membership in an astronomy club. That way you will get to look through telescopes and talk to a lot of interesting people, much better than being alone with a telescope you don't know how to use.

Inter Cast Marriage Problem Help Needed.?

Strange neighbour - do I say anything?

Hello, bit of a quandary here. I moved to a new area a few months ago, and have got to know a few neighbours really well, some a bit and others not at all. The other morning one of the neighbours I have seen around but not really spoken to was out on the drive putting out the rubbish. This neighbour was in a dressing gown and hair curlers. Overworking muscles and weight loss?

Hi, I am currently trying to slim down for an upcoming vacation towards the end of August. Right now my mian focus is to be lean (losing all the fat first, and then I will dream of toning up). Anywho, I have been doing cardio for about 40 minutes daily which I think is fine, but the question that I have is if I'm overworking on my muscles. After 40 minutes of cardio, I would do leg adductions, and leg abductions, along with leg curls , leg extensions and crunches. I also do bicep curls on the side. I do 60 leg ab and ad, and 20 leg extension and leg curls. I also do 50 crunches on this machine at the gym. I was planning on working my muscles everyday, but people told me its not good, because my muscles wont have a chance to rip, again, I just want to get lean right now because I am overweight. Would I benefit from doing all of this, or should I listen and take breaks every other day, or 2 on 1 off? I also do lunges, and squats at home, is that considered cardio or is that working the muscles too? Also can I do bicep curls at home because I have weights or should I take a break? Thanks

I use to do biceps and triceps 6 x a week and now I changed my schedule to every other day and my biceps feel like they might be geting bigger but defently not harder if any thing kinda looser is this normal I do around 100 pushups 25 chinups 15 pullups and like 10 hammer pull ups and curls and multiple workout with 40 pounds on a dumbbell curl probly around 40 curls also I raise the bar above my head and use it like I'm lifting weights that gets Ur arms sore I'm 13 5 foot 3 110 I'm defently not fat what I like about my body is I'm not one of those natrually bony skinny peoples I have a flat belly with ABS under that I'm trying to pop out but I'm eating a lot to get my arms big and at the end of each workout I can't touch my shoulders

Feeling really depressed?!!?

I have been self harming for about 2-3 months now, right now my left arm is covered in cuts and a few scars I cut on my leg earlier because my arm felt soo sore, I've cut words like love, *****, mess, and fk up into my arms. I do it because I feel depressed a lot of the time and it makes me feel better and I feel more in control when I'm stressed or angry. Well, my hair frizzes ALOT. I have a straightner (CHI) and i also have natural curly hair. And on rainy, humid or hot days, my hair tends to frizz and curl. But when ever i go to get my hair cut at the salon, my hair stylist always makes it silky somehow. Ive tried different types of oil on my hair recomended by Sally Beauty Supplies Workers. For example, ive tried the CHI silk infusion...it helps alittle but still isnt very silky. As for conditioners and shampoo...i use whatever my mom buys. Like Herbal Essense and Suave. My hair is pretty thick, but I chopped it to my shoulders a while ago :'( Haha, I liked it, but I miss long hair. If the stylists are talking to you that way, I suggest going to a different salon; that's rude and unprofessional. I remember once when I was getting a haircut (when I had long hair and I was thicker since I didn't have layers yet and my hair is also curly) the lady was trying to brush my hair but since it's curly, there were tangles, so she kept pulling my hair and got pissed at me...for my hair having tangles... Needless to say, I never went back to her again :) As for taming your curls, make sure you use a good conditioner. Things like argan oil and coconut are supposedly good for your hair, so look for stuff infused with that. Also try a leave in treatment (leave in your hair for like 15 minutes, more or less) once a week specifically for curly hair. I use one by pantene and it made my hair so soft! It comes with 5 mini bottles that have enough for one use each. And also look for an anti-frizz serum. If you're willing to spend a little more, the keratin treatment (not the brazilian one that's super expensive with harsh chemicals) did wonders for my hair. Less frizzy and a lot easier to blow dry and straighten. It's a little expensive, but not nearly as expensive as the brazilian, doesn't damage your hair, and is definitely worth it. Good luck! :D

Why does my hair tangle easily?

I have thin, fine, straight hair (with a little curl at the ends) a few inches past my shoulders and at school it seems I need to brush it again after every class! I don't brush it THAT much but I do brush maybe five times a day and I know that can be bad for hair. So how does it do that? I'm basically just sitting at a desk for 50 minutes and then all of a sudden it's a little tangly and it's just not neat and smooth. So do you know why? My hair is touching my shoulder and i really want my hair to grow. My mom had always told me to get it trimmed every other month so i don't get split ends but it isn't growing that well. i got my hair short in a bob 2 years ago and getting it trimmed it's only made it to my shoulder. Simple question dealing with sound waves!?

I'm curious if I'm talking in a low voice to someone and another person gets in between me and this person and talks in an even louder voice, the person I was talking to may have difficulty distinguishing between the different sounds and hearing what it was i was trying to say but is it true that the sound waves will actually interfere with each other rendering sounds distorted where they interfere? for instance if i touch the surface of a still pool of water in one place and then in another at the same time (assuming that sound waves and the ripples in the water work similarly) the ripples will interfere reducing their mass and distorting them. Assuming my assumptions so far are true ( I have very limited scientific knowledge) in that sound waves and ripples in water are the same in that sense etc.. Basically I'm asking if the other persons voice would actually distort the sound waves if they were produced at the exact same time? Also if I were to take a very high frequency sound higher than humans ears are capable of distinguishing rendering this sound while talking would it distort some of the sound waves from my speaking? I hope this makes sense sorry I'm kind of pressed for time. Any help appreciated and ill update the question if you state where exactly it needs more explanation or makes little sense.

my eyelashes are really long so when I put on mascara it always straightens out. I use CoverGirl lash blast. I curl my lashes and when I put it on, it stays curl for like 5 seconds then it straightens out. I use 2 coats of mascara like I wiggle it from the root to the top but it still straightens out. I have been religiously eating healthy for past five months and lost 34kg aswell. First i wast on a low carb diet but now since last week i am eating normal food but in moderation. I used to work out around 90 minutes a day which included 70 minutes jogging, 150 situps, 80 pushups and 100 bicep curls. But suddenly now i just dont have the strength to exercise, i run for 20 minutes and get headache, abnormal heartbeat and get out of breath. I am so stressed that i will get fat again because i m not able to exercise. Also, i havent eaten any junk food or fast food since 5 months now because i just dont like these two for some reason. I also try to avoid white rice but eat it occasionally. I eat complex carbs like wholemeal, wholewheat and fruits. Please help me and just to make it clear i am sleeping well. I am still abit overweight. Also, i get bad headaches when i wake and get out of bed or when i standup after sitting on a sofa for hours. Now, the reason so many people think it's real is because the actors themselves break the 4th wall, which is a big no-no in the film industry, and actually tell the audience that the film they are about to see is actual footage and is indeed all fact. Plus, when any movie has "actual footage" anyone is bound to believe it. And yes, all the stories about missing people is true but that doesn't necessarily mean alien abduction. I do know that there was a significance about the owl that the victims see, but from real reports, the victim doesn't see the owl until after abduction. If you want to see a movie inspired, not based, by true events I would highly recommend you watch Fire in the Sky or a couple of X- Files, which are inspired by real x-files. Hope this helped. Why do I look ugly w/o makeup?

Bad stomach cramps at night, i have mirena not sure if its connected to pains?

i had my mirena put in months ago, i was on the pill for 5 years mainly for period cramps, i havent had many cramps since the placement of the IUD, little ones here and there when id typically get my period, the past few nights ive been getting woken up by excruciating stomach cramps and i cant get comfortable and curl up in a ball, they last for generally 20 minutes, but i get very hot and dizzy and short of breath and nauseous, almost the same feeling i had when the IUD was inserted. after i go back to sleep i wake up in the morning with tightness in my stomach, hips and lower back that last almost all day. ive also been very tired even if i sleep well into the day and i dont have the best appetite (my appetite is never consistent anyways) i have no pain during sex and i can still feel my string. what could this be ? im not sure if all this is connected to the IUD so i want to look at it with and without the IUD.
